Control, trauma, loss, desire…combining these sentiments through performance and installation, the work subverts body modification aids in scale and material. The performance work examines the trauma, cleansing routines, and gestures of authority. The agency of these objects are further engaged through a series of intimate performative acts of washing, repetitive language and play.
